  • Jeanette BS, RVTg
    Jeanette
    Practice Manager

    Jeanette is a Registered Veterinary Technologist and has been in the field for over 25 years. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences from Cal Poly Pomona in 1999 and her RVTg license in 2000. Jeanette has experience in general practice, avian and exotic medicine, ophthalmology and taught veterinary technology for 7 years. She plans to complete her Master’s in Business and looks forward to becoming a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager. When not at work, Jeanette spends quality time with her son Nathan, her partner Jaclyn, and their dog Ginger. Jeanette also shares her time with several of her turtles and tortoises, crested geckos, bearded dragon and tarantulas.

    Front Office Manager/Veterinary Assistant

    Tina is a graduate from California State University, Fullerton where she received her BS in Biological Sciences and BA in American Studies. She aspires to learn all she can in the veterinary field before applying for her DVM in the next coming years. She has a dog named Luna, who she loves very much. Tina enjoys taking and processing her own film photography. She also loves collecting house plants - she has over a hundred of them.

    Katie is a Registered Veterinary Technician and has been in the field for over 15 years. She has experience working with small animals, large animals, and pocket pets. Katie has her fear free certificate as well and enjoys working with patients and their owners to make vet visits a little less scary. When not working, Katie enjoys spending time with her daughter Paislee, her dogs, Fiana and Rufus, and cats Jack Frost and Bourbon. She also enjoys spending time with friends, the outdoors and going to festivals.

    Veterinary Assistant

    Growing up, Cecilia has always been fond of animals, even to this day. She has had several pets from your average dog and cat to tarantulas and Iguanas. A vegetarian for 10 years and became a Vegan when she started working here at La Palma Veterinary Hospital. She is against all forms of cruelty; she stands by both animals and mankind. Cecilia’s hobbies are concerts, practices Reiki, playing piano, painting, reading, also loves to spend time in nature and loves going on road trips. Cecilia’s goals are to keep working with animals and to learn all she can in the veterinary field.

    Amanda has been in the Vet field since 2008. She realized her love and interest in animals as a small child, bringing home many displaced creature, to Mother's dismay.She was allowed several pets among them fish, turtles, bunnies & cats - her favorite breed is Siamese.

    Amanda was born & raised in SoCal, where she also developed an enjoyment of fishing and a love of walking the beaches for shells, which she uses in another favorite hobby, crafts & jewelry making.

    When not at La Palma Vet she lives with her dog named 'P-Nut' who sometimes gets to come to work to say hi to everyone. She also has a tortoiseshell cat named 'Sassy.' The most recent addition is a Siamese named 'Minou,' born in the backyard.

    Adrianna has always had a deep love for all animals. From early on, she has mothered a menagerie of pets - everything from dogs and cats to even chickens! When Adrianna is not at La Palma, she likes to sing karaoke, read and watch cartoons.

    Currently studying for her Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology (eventually wanting to study for her Bachelor's), Wendy always has had a love for animals. As a kid, she grew up around many animals and has always had an interest in pursuing a career in this field. She hopes to continue to learn more each day in the coming years. In her free time Wendy enjoys reading, writing and traveling. She also loves spending time with her two dogs, Willow and Penny, and guinea pig, Honey.

    Ruth has always loved animals. She has been working with dogs for now almost a third of her life! She is currently working towards a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science at Cal State Long Beach. Her hobbies include traveling and hanging out with her two dogs and cat.

    Veterinary Assistant

    Megan has had a love for animals her entire life. She currently has 9 pets at home, but 2 of them include her pug 'Gup' and her ball python 'Piper'.  She graduated from Platt College with an AS in Veterinary Technology to pursue a career as a Registered Veterinary Technician. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, drawing, binge watching her favorite TV shows, and spending time with her fur babies.
